My new favorite book is The Fashion Questionnaire, in which legendary fashion designers including Valentino, Diane von Furstenberg, Roberto Cavalli, Nicole Miller, John Galliano, and Carolina Herrera, among others, answer a series of questions based on Marcel Proust’s personality revealer recast with a fashion angle. Each page of handwritten answers discloses the inspirations, thoughts, and musings of the men and women shaping today’s fashion industry.
For my personal responses, read on. To complete the questionnaire yourself, or put your friends to the test, click here.
